Gray might turn out to be a career underachiever with the talent he has. He's never nailed down a starting place. Fun to watch, but has never really delivered on his potential.

They don’t have the players for top 4 and the ones they are signing aren’t changing that.
Andros Townsend is one the most uninspiring signings a team supposedly aiming for the top 6 could make.

No chance of them getting top 4. They just haven’t got the players.
I agree despite only Man U, Man C, Arsenal and Villa being bigger nett spenders on players in the last five years.
They lost £140m in the year to June 2020 and £112m the year before.
They owed £250m due within a year.
Their position will be worse again after the year to June 2021.
I'd suggest they are a long long way from being in a position to challenge much.

I expect big things from new owners but they’ve been in charge a while now and had a few mangers . Once a new owner has had a few managers I’d question wether owners are going to do any better and break the mould .

Rafa has brought a couple in on the cheap , makes me wonder if he’s wants to bring in a big money signing.

With their recent losses and spending and their stadium investment I'd be surprised if they could buy anything of note unless they sell really big.
