I don't see the business case for something of this scale in Redcar, which makes me wonder where the money is coming from and how it is going to work. The only good news that I can see is that there is no Council money involved.

I still suggest it won't happen. This is a deal to lease the land, now they just need 70 million quid and to actually get an arena built for that much.

The council should've built the new sports centre on that site with a small venue and/or bowling alley attached. Replacing what got demolished. It was the perfect site for it.

I think something like that might happen one day but not until the climate has changed so that it is warmer for longer. I am not saying this is a good thing by the way.
