Very sad news. Was my shift manager for a short while on Cassel Works. Gave me plenty of help for my interview to get taken on by the company after my apprenticeship. Thanks Dave. RIP.

Heard this sad news yesterday morning and knew he had been ill for a while. I tried to post it on here yesterday but it wouldn't upload!

Dave's Dead Men Walking gig upstairs at The Westgarth back in 2017 was my first gig back to the local music scene after a long time away, and I thank him for that. Likewise his Pauline Murray gig at the Georgian straight after lockdown, was great to get back out there.

So many good shows over the last 5 years, thanks for the music.

Cheers mate, "fire up the Quattro" and it's "Almost dinner time. I’m ‘aving ‘oops".
