Incidentally, I was listening to the Alex Bruce episode of Under The Cosh yesterday and he starts talking about his time under Warnock. During training, he picks the ball up and plays a diagonal pass into the central midfielder, Warnock blows his whistle halts play and shouts 'You'll never play for me doing that son, get the ball into the channels, none of this ***** into the midfield'.

Heard him on the BBC Tees podcast during lockdown but he went into a bit more detail of his time at Oldham.

What a basket case of a club that is - it made his time at Bolton seem when he was under Ken Anderson seem normal.
