Anyone else read it?

Got 100 pages left. Really enjoyed it.

It’s interesting how entwined we are/were with France/Normandy.

Also interesting was how we hold up Richard the Lionheart as a shining beacon of Englishness. He hardly spent time in England and tried his best to sell all assets. He would’ve sold London if he could. (He was Norman).
Also it is very likely that the 3 lions on our shirts are referring to England, Normandy and Aquitaine. Meaning 2/3’s of lions are French.
Football hooligan’s up and down the land won’t like that one.
 
Read it on holiday and enjoyed it. He was a history student at Uni so clearly has a keen interest in the subject, added to his witty writing made it a good read.

Yes. I like him as a comic and it comes across that he has a genuine interest in subject matter. Great read. Would recommend.
