It’s not really that uncommon a name in Hispanic countries is it? david silva, david luiz, david villa etc

We have to remember we didn’t invent every name, we just pinched them and changed the pronunciation. David is a Hebrew name and used heavily in the bible, many countries have their own variant even Middle Eastern and Asian countries
