A big player in the Liverpool team that dominated European and domestic football in the 70's.

Souness filled up talking about him yesterday when talking highly of him. No great age at 71.

A very good player - was going to post a thread of his passing yesterday but got distracted. Played for both of the Merseyside big two, and became the first player to score for both teams in the Merseyside derby. We’ve lost a few good uns from that era over the last year or so haven’t we. RIP David
