David Cameron - 'dodgy' just doesn't cut it

It isn't what they all do, it's what some of them do and do well.
Very few enter politics for anything other than a nice career and an decent earner...... and that's from all sides.
Yes that's me being cynical but I've never seen anything to think differently.
Just spend a little time looking into how the whole 'lobbying' system works. It stinks.

Ah but he's said the magic words ... 'lessons have been learnt'

which means can we draw a line under the whole affair, it's all tickerty boo and can we all forget about it and move on, nothing to see here old bean

You have to admire Dennis skinner
Like I said above, it's totally unfair to say all MPs are on the take. There are some who are in it for the people like good old Dennis was. In fact comments like they are all in it for themselves is an appalling slight on people like Dennis and a deflection aimed at letting the Dodgy Dave's off the hook.

He's a loss to the system because he didn't just play along with the charade of 'democracy' and hated the way protocol was used to divert from the truth.

It is typical whataboutery and deflection to simply dismiss it on the basis that ‘they’re all at it’. Absolute nonsense.

Just wait until you see the person who’s been chosen to chair the “Government” inquiry into this thing.
They’re just blatantly taking the pi$$ now.
But, like someone said it’s not that he broke the rules...it’s the fact that there are no rules to break.

You would expect this to be headline news any other party it would be wall to wall coverage but nooo so far ITV news are on thier 3rd item first 3 all about the marvellous news that london is opened its shops & pubs then how good the holiday let businesses in great Yarmouth are going to be just gone to item 4 how Wales is starting to open up again. Item 5 is northern Ireland now they're going through the science. Now its William & harry paying tribute to duke of Edinburgh. Oh here we go at long last a while couple of minutes about it. Move along nothing to see here & people wonder hiw they get away with it

Enquiry : chose what outcome you want, chose the chair who will give you that result then let it run.
Bent corrupt dishonest criminals, use the thesaurus for the completion of the sentence.

There is something a bit more worrying about this than other dodgy deals. I am not sure, but I think it is the fact that Greensill were so bad Cameron was knocked back a few times untl eventually Hancock and Harding relented on some dodgy NHS pay deal.

The fact that they laterr went bust highlights the lack of due dilligence.

The government knowingly gave our money to a really dodgy company in full knowledge that they were hopeless. An ex-PM who has an existing relationship to the current PM gets a sackfull of tax payers money for a company that promptly goes bankrupt.

This sounds very much like handing money to Alexander Greenshill knowing they were in financial trouble and not caring. Any guesses what happened to the government funding? Used to pay debtors, used to pay salaries, or squirelled offshore?

More than the other dodgy deals this looks like straight up fraud. A fraud that I believe was known about by all involved.

It’s like the bailout money from the financial crash went out to places like Singapore. A financial crash should have devastated somewhere like Singapore yet it was boom time with buildings going up everywhere and workers of the UK still paying for it!

Yet still working class people will vote Tory and point and sneer at labour as being out of touch with the people, you couldn't make it up 🤦‍♂️

I see that the totally pointless HS2 is now looking at £100 billion costs as opposed to the £30 billion stated when it was first proposed. I wonder whose pockets that will be going into.

Money that cannot be afforded and a destroyed natural environment to get a businessman/woman to a meeting 20 minutes earlier One that he/she will now be doing on Zoom anyway.
Daylight robbery. At least d*ck Turpin wore a mask.

So the plot thickens dodgy Dave got knocked back this time but now it seems tje company Greensill have had finance accepted which they passed on to big companies but of course its not clear if dodgy Dave was involved 🙄

"The last large inquiry commissioned by Johnson was an investigation into bullying accusations against the home secretary, Priti Patel. But the prime minister disagreed with the findings of the investigation and his own independent adviser on ministerial standards and opted not to sack Patel."

Financial Times.

Same thing with the institutional racism "Inquiry".

The inquiry into institutional islamaphobia within the tory party was promised by all candidates in the tory election race, seems its all forgotten about now, but the way they doctor these inquires its pointless
