I suppose golf singles you're only ever really playing your own game?I could challenge you JackG( so long as we trust each other) to a game of darts.
Right now. relaying the score big FMTTM as we go. And neither of our tactics would change.
We could invite another player or players, and there tactics( and ours would not change)
what other " sport" could you do that with??
If you did that on this board, I am sure someone would get an eight dart finish. I wonder if that is possible when wearing a different pair of shoesI could challenge you JackG( so long as we trust each other) to a game of darts.

A player will take into account the perceived quality of opponent when approaching the 'checkout' stage, so darts does have a tactical element. There are safer and riskier strategies and a player's choices will depend on the state of the game and the expected behaviour of their opponent. Admittedly, we're not planning the D-Day landings, but it's still both strategic and tactical.I could challenge you JackG( so long as we trust each other) to a game of darts.

501C'mon , really?? Weighing up the strategy on a 301 finish? Come on don't be silly...
Seriously though, where two ( or more) compete against each other AND the elements then these are sports e.g. Golf.
Yorkshire board 301. That's a sport.
