Darlo station parking

Interested in this too. Leaving the car for the weekend in December and need somewhere close as have cases and wife and kids in tow

Drop off the wife, kids and bags at the rear entrance of Darlo station, at the top of Victoria road. Then park the car off street, and walk back to the family. I've done that previously without problems.

That's the one we normally use, entrance on Clifton Road I think.
It has cameras and number plate recognition

I use the one at the back entrance on Victoria Road, usually park in the indoor bit. Midweek it’s £12.50 per 24hrs. Was parked there for 3 days this week.

The cattle market was knocked down and turned into a big old car park. Looks pretty secure, two minutes from the station.
You can park for free on George Street, Bedford Street etc, but it's not as safe!

I park in the hippodrome car park on hird street whenever I go away with work for 2-3 days which is around every other month, £4 per day and in the open with cameras on it and plenty of footfall from the theatre, health centre, fire station and the college close by - never had any problems. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the train station tops.

Never thought of using that car park, didn’t realise you could pay that far ahead in it. Good shout.
