Dana is one of the most articulate and knowledgable Boro fans that I have seen on social media. Her way of expressing her opinions is very impressive which is backed up with a real understanding of what she is talking about.

Lets be honest, the reason she gets any critcism is because she is female and there are unfortunately still people that believe this sport is not for women, which is sad to see in this day and age.

Evening Yusuf - you Media whore!!!! Great to see you getting so much positive media coverage - well deserved, pal. I have to say people need to wake up - far more female presenters and analysers than ever before . And I for one welcome it as there is a depth of knowledge among women that simply didn’t get a platform years ago.
 
Heard her now & again driving home from matches but with people in the car I didnt hear much, heard a bit of her talking yesterday after the game, very impressed with her
 
I haven't intended to her that often, but when I have she has been very insightful and a welcome respite from the half wits call in.

I think people need to accept it but also not feel they cant disagree with an opinion. Football is all about opinions at the end of the day.

Dana' s Diary 📔 and Nobbys Notebook 📖✍️

Absolutely, Yusuf - I know about plenty disagreeing with me! Keep up with your positive and passionate support. You have so many admirers for supporting Boro the way you do, pal.

Wasn’t much of the criticism based around her taking more time up on the radio than other fans? I think that is part of the problem her just being described as ‘a fan’ instead of a presenter or podcaster at least.

Plenty of people are still fairly unaware of podcasts or at least how popular they are. They will have heard her on the radio basically being part of the post match summary team and wondering why she gets the opportunity when other fans, podcasters or budding journalists don’t. The fact that she’s female plays into the narrative that women are being pushed into mainstream roles undeservedly. Unfortunately a lot of people believe that to be true.

As a budding journalist and podcaster myself I really don't mind one bit.
