There is a 59% chance that he will be in the team for the weekend, but only a 27% chance of that happening.
 
He had a very good game.
This is my facetious way of saying that he can be good in this league but will likely be inconsistent.
I don’t think he can be a starter in a team pushing for promotion. Really hope he proves me wrong!

After the pen was one example, but he wasn’t the only one, first half especially I was crying out for a few pot luck shots! Nothing to lose against a deep team like that.
 
He was ok yesterday against the worst team we have played all season. But honestly if we cannot do better than him we may as well pack up. Likewise O'Brien who is looking more and more like Willo Flood by the game. ;) :ROFLMAO:
 
Played well yesterday. I always think he will be better in a 3 but what do I know. He does try to make things happen though.
 
Like most championship level players he has flaws, unfortunately the way he is being played for us mostly exposes those flaws rather than minimises them, and that is more an issue for recruitment and management than the player. When he plays against a team that suits his game he shows his quality.
 
I have been a huge critic of Barlaser in the past. And with good reason. I've found it unfathomable that he has played in certain games other that the fact that we have had so many injuries. The spell he had in the team when Howson was injured I thought he was awful.
However, yes - yesterday he was much improved but as others have said, that game suited him. If he has time on the ball he looks good. He played some sublime passes to switch up the play. Also noticed he has the ability to beat a man with some quick feet.

His inconsistency is hugely frustrating though.

I never 'hate' ANY boro players but he has certainly been my 'boo-boy' this season. Was delighted that he started to prove me wrong yesterday.

If only we could just play against teams that suit Dan's game eh:)
