What does he do that makes you believe those statements are false? Can you provide some examples of what he offers the team

Slows things down far too much for us. He can pick a pass but it’s all to slow and our play is already ponderous without Jones providing any pace. He’d be ok for walking football that old fogies play but not this level. Big rebuild for the summer that’s for sure - just glad we didn’t pay much for him.

They are absolute and sometimes such absolutes are correct. This is one of those times. No player is perfect. I try and judge whether a player makes us worse or better and he makes us so much worse that it sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s so obvious.
