What world do you live in , where every thing you write is mean and vindictive exactly the traits you complain about in the Mail. He’s clearly trolling now. Oh thanks, I forgot about “playing the victim” when someone points it outWhat world do you live in , where every thing you write is mean and vindictive exactly the traits you complain about in the Mail.
Rothermere took control.Used to read the Mail on Sunday late 90s about the same time Blair came to power.
None of this extreme political sh*t, load of good news / articles and was a decent read.
Did start to go down the sh*tter early 00s just became a very bland read, aimed most definitely at the older middle classes.
Then quite what happened....... assume the Tories came into power in 2010 and it got sucked right up their ar*e, became a client newspaper.
You also have to have the last word are you a child?Oh thanks, I forgot about “playing the victim” when someone points it out
Mirror, mirror on the wall ...You also have to have the last word are you a child?

The Daily Mail has history though. It supported Oswald Mosely and the Blackshirt Fascist Party in the 1930s and very much held extreme right wing sympathiesUsed to read the Mail on Sunday late 90s about the same time Blair came to power.

Think he's talking about the MoS rather than the Daily Mail, which although technically the same paper had a different editor and a noticeably different tone at one point. The Daily Mail has history though. I assume this is true. Even my father, who was a staunch socialist, read the MoS from time time so it most have been reasonably acceptableThink he's talking about the MoS rather than the Daily Mail, which although technically the same paper had a different editor and a noticeably different tone at one point.
I can’t recall the MoS having a different view to its sister paper to be honest but one things for sure it’s as Tory as its counterpart now.Think he's talking about the MoS rather than the Daily Mail, which although technically the same paper had a different editor and a noticeably different tone at one point.
Like I said, it was in the early years of Blair's tenure. Definitely wasn't like it is today, not a chance I would have bought it if it was.I can’t recall the MoS having a different view to its sister paper to be honest but one things for sure it’s as Tory as its counterpart now.
