Daily Mail Claim about Wilder.

We need a replacement for Tav. We need to replace Howson, though adding an orthodox defensive midfielder would potentially free up Howson to play slightly further up.
So that's two already by your reckoning. I think our midfield options are really poor.
Has the recruitment been very poor? We’ve played 10 games, some of them haven’t been with the club any longer than 5 or 6 weeks yet. What are you judging them against if you’ve decided it’s poor after so little football?
YES the recruitment has been poor. The window was long, the lead up to it longer. Who do you honestly see as being encouraging other then Giles and Muniz?
Put Tav back into this team and it looks much different IMO.
If your aunty had a d*ck she'd be your uncle. He's not here, he's been sold and not nearly replaced or built on.
Maybe the club has a pay structure. Maybe the club is looking after it’s money now. Maybe the club are recouping losses made during Covid, or keeping their powder dry for the next two or three windows. Or maybe sorting issues that have dogged us for years takes a bit longer than a year.
The wage bill was under control, the rubbish paid off, the amortisation collapsed, the income recovering; then a huge windfall from Spence.
There was an opportunity to challenge with good recruitment. We are 22nd and deserve to be. We haven't been unlucky, we've not been good enough, from top to bottom.
But why does every issue we have have to be somebody’s fault? What if Scott said, “I’ve studied how much cash you’ve burned since relegation and I’d like to build something more sustainable over three or four years, and I don’t think we should be haemorrhaging money on wages any more.”

You don’t know. You know there’s a hole in midfield. You don’t know the lengths people have gone to fill it, you’ve presumed they haven’t gone to any because the hole remains. Or that’s how it reads to me.
This last part is special. It is not about "fault" it is about responsibility and accountability.
How it reads to me is that you have complete trust and blind faith in the people who actually run this football club.
After a very long time of watching a catastrophic fall in the fortunes of the club since 2006, I look at the evidence and think they have failed consistently along the way.
I love my Football Club as much as any other supporter does, but this implicit faith in its owner and what he does is well past its sell by date.
