Cycling World Champs (spoilers)

Thought G might do it too.
I jinxed Van Aert because I said he wouldn't do the double on the GCN poll :)
Gana is fast as a fast thing on fast forward.

Ineos knew what they were doing signing up the former individual track pursuit star.

He has won the world title 4 out of the last 5 years.

Guess which idiot forgot it was on and went shopping instead

On a more positive note, panic buying hasn't hit the local Waitrose's yet,

They will have some TT team to rival Jisma with those acquisitions added to Ganna, Thomas, Kwiatkowski and Castrojevo.

Did anyone see the women’s TT yesterday
Chloe Dygart’s tumble was horrible and the state of her leg afterwards..........
(pics can be found but you need a strong constitution)

I did and winced as she ran along that Armco, nevermind when I saw her leg.

Yes G did a great ride shame about just missing out on a medal but looks in good form for the Giro. I heard that Ineos are not allowing their riders to race in the men's elite race due to their team bubbles but can't see anything to confirm this. Is Tom Pidxxxx going to ride?
Matthew Van Der Poel seems to have had a quite season, last year he was fantastic, better than WVA, would be interesting to see him race soon.

Bit of a procession today for Van Der Breggen - what a week she has had.
The dutch taking 3 of the first 4 are doing something right.

Just came across this video of some of the Baby Giro focussing on Pidcock. He's looking really good, so a decent finish tomorrow will further boost his confidence. It's a good (mainly) young team we've put out - Pidcock, Carthy, Knox, Hayter, Rowe and Shaw. Warning, the narrator can certainly talk, but knows his stuff.

Enjoyed that - some cracking efforts shown there. Climbing and attacks were very strong. Enjoyed the commentary too

Ha my little pet hate. Getting way off thread topic people do sometimes say Tesco’s instead of Tesco and even more annoying when people say they are going to Asda’s.
