We've been around parts of Sutton Bank, Wynyard woodland, Guisborough Forest but need somewhere new.
Our youngest isn't great with anything other than small inclines so mainly flat is better. Parts of longer trails would be fine
If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated

My dad used to take me to New Marske / Errington Woods when I was little.

The top of Sutton Bank. They have a few family trails but they have just built a pump track and a lovely off road gravel trail thing that I've seen loads of families riding on. It will be perfect. There is a nice bike shop and cafe too.

Ask in the bike shop about the trails but you can just jump on the new track and it's a nice loop to explore.

I really like that trail but the kids are a liability on it, they always seem to skid off their bikes on the gravel. That said it's probably a bit firmer now it's been used a lot. We've also done the loop that continues up the road past the track and takes a left over the fields and down past the viewing point.

Errington woods is a good shout. Can park at the top of grewgrass lane and ride along the main bottom path to the quarry lane end. All pretty flat. There's a clearing along the way, on the left, that's got small undulations and jumps that little kids could ride about on.

I'll take a look, sounds ideal

Where are you based?

The Moon and Stars path from York to Riccall is excellent for kids as you “cycle” the solar system with planets along the way.

I like this ride a lot - there used to be an honesty cafe on the route too that was always well stocked with treats.
