That’s my Christmas list done, hopefully pick it up in the January sales.

Balotelli has signed for a Serie B club until the end of the season so that's a no go.

Perhaps you could put a word in for us Newy with Jamie Bell, I reckon he could do a job for us dicky dancing down the flanks 😉
 
Just a winger with a bit of pace would make a massive difference but I feel like I’ve been pleading for one since I was in nappies. Given up hope of us ever signing one.

In the same time we’ve spunked about £40m on strikers and bought about 4 million central mids we’ve bought Traore (no longer here), Browne (never starts) and Johnson who is ok but has started as many games at FB. Prior to that the last winger we signed was Downing ffs!

I don’t think we are that far away from being a challenger, 2 wingers and a striker and we could push for automatic. I just don’t think we have the creativity in midfield or are clinical enough in front of goal, we probably don’t have enough depth either with this messed up season, the players have looked knackered the past few games. I hope Warnock is here next year and backed with 3 quality signings, I fear him walking away and us ripping up and starting again, watching the likes of Bola and Dijksteel chasing shadows again under a inexperienced manager.

I’ll crack open a few cans and get back to my scouting job. I hear there’s a young lad from Sheffield currently working In a brewery that's worth looking at at.

At long last Fletcher is beginning to get some credit. It has been shameful the way he was hammered on this board and at games when he is by far the bets forward we have had for a few years. Just playing with a load of donkeys!

He wasn't banging the goals in. HIs technique was there but he needed a run of games and a bit of confidence. (similar to Patrick Bamford.. although I think Fletcher is a superior play to Bamford)

Lukas Nmecha has a bit of the baby Fletcher in him. Good technique etc.. would have been a good one to get in on loan on top of Fletchers injury. I think there was potentially a player in there but I guess we don't have the luxury of finding out.
 
Fletcher was poor before the injury , and is out of contract at the end of the season , so if he is fit by January he will be for sale .
I don't see the clamour for wingers , we have players who should be able to cross a ball , in Roberts , Spence , Tav , Folarin , Coulson and Johnson .
They need to practice , and practice again and again , bloody heck , it's not hard .
What we do need is natural goalscorers / poachers , Britt was one , Fletcher and Akpom are not .
Nisbet comes to mind , or loan Gayle of the skunks .

Roberts - number 10
Watmore - right winger/striker
Spence - right wingback
Tav -midfielder
Folarin - academy right winger
Coulson - left wingback
Johnson . left winger/wingback

The wingers that Warnock are after do a slightly different job to the two that we currently have. I would say we need two decent players for every position at the moment we have two wingers and two strikers. Unless we can strike it rich from our academy we’re gonna need serious reinforcements in January. Bolasie? Grosicki?

Fletcher was good before his injury and we’ve really missed him. He is out of contract at the end of the season (like Britt) but who are we going to bring in even if we do sell. Sam Cosgrove? Charlie Austin? Cauley Woodrow?
 
I would Swap Fletcher for Woodrow or Cosgrove , rather than lose him for nothing in June . I would also expect us to sell Britt and get a Warnock type in .
Warnock also mentioned dealing so maybe swap Wing for Wallace at Millwall or Chaplin at Barnsley .
And , I have mentioned earlier , Nisbet would be affordable .
Ferguson at Aberdeen would add goals from midfield .
I would also be happy with Bolasie and Grosicki BTW

To be fair though, he hasn’t been brilliant at times, but is showing the ability that meant he went to Man United’s academy.
