Cunning move away from a loan strategy to .....a strategy of loans

We've essentially gone and grabbed the prize midfield loan from the premier league. Any side in this league that wanted a midfielder will have wanted. Lewis O'Brien. To get a player of that quality you're looking at £10million.
Sam Greenwood I don't know much about I'll admit, but I knew absolutely nothing about Aaron Ramsey either except from his performance against us for Norwich.

I'm glad to see we've used this market well but have moved away from an over reliance of loan players.

Hopefully this time next summer we'll have a good young squad that only needed 3/4 added to them not 11/12.
We also can have 3 more loans in our squad. That's excellent heading into January to add that little bit of quality

Like how we've outfoxed our competitors with our no loan, buy only approach, back to loan flip flop strategy 🤔
Got to get up early in the morning to catch the Boro out 😉
No, Carrick was talking about how our loans last season were absolutely key players. Goalkeeper. Main play maker. Second top scorer. These new loans can make a big impact but they will not be quite so essential to the team plan.

Good job Burnley and Sheff United missed the memo 👍🏻

Maybe you just like Championship football
Loan players are endemic so it is inevitable that they will be part of promoted teams. That does not mean they do the EFL as a whole any good whatsoever.
