Crowd noise Bremen v Bayern

Watching the game live now , there is back ground crowd noise at the game , so much so you wouldn't know there was an empty stadium . Even noise when a shot is close .
Much better than the usually echo noise and hearing the players shouting .
It would be great if Boro could do the same , I know Mark Page did something years ago .
Also , it would be good If the club allowed the red faction and the 12th man to lay their collection of flags out over the lower seating prior to the game to at least give it home game environment .
Thoughts ?

Good call about the banners 👍

I think so Erimus 👍🏻All the work that went into the banners which in general made one appearance .Some great banners over the last few seasons , bring em out .
This way , they could be all displayed around the lower seating areas opposite the cameras to show them off .
Ask the question RF / 12th man and get it done 👍🏻

Could you not ask Rob to see if it's viable, anything that makes it match day experience 👍

Maybe the red faction and 12th man can get this going , I know they have had dialogue with the club representatives in the past .
And give the thumbs up to BT about crowd noise , it really made a difference .

I watched a match a week or so ago (possibly Frankfurt) where they had stuff laid out on the seats in the lower sections of the ground but the away end was empty. Wonder if this was a psychological move?

I think it's an important aspect psychologically. Not so much in recreating a real match day atmosphere, but to separate these games from feeling like mundane training sessions to the players. To give some extra edge to their play.

However, it has made me think of the number of times we hear things like "he puts them away all day in training" etc.

Are we due any wonder goals, without the crowd pressure..? I'm talking a George Friend overhead kick from outside the box! Or a Wing goal from less than 20 yards away!

There will be no RF banners inside the ground.
These games are about money and not about fans. To support this would be entirely hypocritical.
I think the other group are putting theirs up in the ground..

In block 62, there will be one mental health banner, for a charity the group supports.
Don't get me started on the dreadful pumped in crowd noise.

Football without fans is nothing.

I've never really agreed with this argument. Football without fans is still football. There is nothing in the sport that requires spectators.

We've been fed the "it's all about the fans" line for years, but that has only ever been marketing.

I also don't see how fans suffer from these matches going ahead behind closed doors: the alternative is no football. Is that going to make anyone feel better?

I've no problem with added crowd noise; in the NRL I've seen, it is an improvement. I guess the best way to do it is to have it added to the TV feed, then individual viewers can decide if they want it or not.

That's a shame free pint that your group has decided not to display the banners .
In my opinion it would be your group showing their support for our team and nothing else , just the way you would do if the last nine games had been played out as normal.
I also believe we need to help the team in any way we can to stay up .
I hope you have a change of mind and show the tv viewers that Boro has the best , and most supportive fans in the land . UTB

Bit odd that our "fans" aren't supporting the team because they can't get to the ground for safety restrictions imposed on every club in Europe.

No issues with fans not been able to go to games, just don't think the games should be getting played at all.

But they are being played free pint , so show your support and get the banners out 👍🏻
A Boro game ( or 4 home games ) without the red factions input will be a big miss .
