They've sold out 2.5k I believe.Any idea what sort of numbers they're bringing?
Home end looks similar to Preston but they are bringing a lot more.Still over 400 left in the south, without the additional end blocks being opened.
One option would be for the club to announce that that they're going to do one bogof offer a season, that way fans won't expect more.Xmas shopping and parties and peoples budgets will play a part.
Once upon a time the club did kids for a quid or 2 games for £20 in the run upto xmas when crowds started to drop (not that crowds are dropping significantly)
We are at home again on Wednesday so a bogof deal this time of year would have been a good gesture as we arent going to get many walkups on Wednesday with the game on SKY.
Like our merch department you cant help but feel our commercial/ticketing department also have their hands well n truly tied.
The problem with offers is the fans then become to expect more.
I cant believe Scarborough are charging £15 next week for a game that shouldnt even be taking place
Not sure there is any reason to do offers when the crowds are as high as they are, we are only mid table in the Championship and anything below 25k is now seen as a bit disappointing. Demand is sky high, if we go up there will be a serious problem with lack of capacity. One option would be for the club to announce that that they're going to do one bogof offer a season, that way fans won't expect more.
It would have been good to have had a bogof offer for these next two games.
Crowds are very good at the moment but it would be a nice gesture to do one offer a season, particularly for when we have back to back home games. Not sure there is any reason to do offers when the crowds are as high as they are, we are only mid table in the Championship and anything below 25k is now seen as a bit disappointing. I think they should do it for cup games.Crowds are very good at the moment but it would be a nice gesture to do one offer a season, particularly for when we have back to back home games.
We'd be looking at 30k crowds for the Ipswich and Hull games if there was a bogof offer. Even if it's only a few extra thousand added onto the gates, it's a bit of extra revenue for the club.
The club already have reduced pricing for the cup games.I think they should do it for cup games.
Yes and added to the bogof offer it would fill the ground. The club already have reduced pricing for the cup games.
I suppose logically though you can't have a bogof offer for cup games, as we might not make it into the next round.Yes and added to the bogof offer it would fill the ground.
