A perfectly written message of genuine fondness for the club, the area and even more so the fans.
What a wonderful bloke he is - IMHO.
He mentioned the staff and players but not specifically the Gaffa. Sir Michael. I wonder.
For me, that was the only thing to jump out at me and i'm wondering if Crooksy had felt a bit more appreciated and/or wanted he would've quite simply dismissed the USA option. If behind the scenes he could see his influence and impact diminishing as MC looked at a 'new' crop of players filing in that, Crooksy thought - this offer is now or never....because Boro (Burrow) might listen to offers come the end of the season and best to go when your stock is high than be pushed 'so to speak'
I get a sense he feels a little disappointed in MC, in that Crooksy's all round contribution hasn't been fully recognised or noticed.
