Crooks

i get the feeling if coburn had have scored ,crooks still would have been played the next game,doubts are starting to creep in with carrick,the obvious one up top ahead of crooks would be forss as thats what he is,,poor decisions,anyway hopefully we can get a few quality players in ,in the next couple of weeks
 
I'm baffled as to why Carrick can't see that Crooks will never be effective playing as a 10.

Can only think he's playing him because he's hoping he will grab us a goal but we lack fluidity and sharpness in our play when he starts as a 10.
 
I like Crooks, he's a good honest pro who will graft and do a job for the team in whatever position asked of him. Also seems to be a great lad off the pitch and good for team morale. I was delighted he signed a new contract and he is good back up in midfield or up front as a different option. However, I've never really seen him as having the necessary technical ability to play the number 10 role. You surely can't blame the lad when he's being asked to do a job in a position he's not suited for.
 
Rogers starts as 10 next week and new lad up front.

Rogers has promise as a 10, think he’s gonna be good for us.
