Interesting. If he learns to play with his back to goal more there's no reason he can't be a target man - and he's good in the air.

I agree that he's a great guy - love the effort he made to help Payero integrate and loved the shot of him hugging Sol Bamba yesterday - also his consistent references to his friend who died. He's a brick, you can just tell.

Loving the calm Carrick vibe in general and the sense that the squad are all pulling in the same direction. Easy when you're winning, natch, but we there don't appear to be any obvious d**kheads in the team.
 
I think he could do a good stand in job at number 10 if we were without Chuba. Could keep all others in their same positions up front and just slot in as a like for like number 10. He can hold the ball and pick a pass and gives us a good option if required.
