Been hoping this fight would become a reality for years, and tonight/tomorrow morning it’s finally here.
I personally have it as a 50/50 fight, can’t split them too much in terms of ability and I have no real favourite to back based on there personality, so for me it’s a sit back with a few early morning beers and just enjoy the spectacle of what could go down as one of the all time great fights.
I can’t do the vegas stuff like I used to, long gone are the days I could stay awake or watch it after coming in off a night out, but I’ll definitely be wide eyed and bushy tailed for this one.

Yeah £19.95 on TNT sports box office, or via the usual alternative methods I suppose!

I'm away early to Manchester tomorrow. Setting off at 5.30am. I'll be setting my alarm for 4am and hoping to get the fight before I set off!

No doubt they will be walking out just as I need to leave.

Same as you, I've got this as a 50/50 fight. I'm probably leaning slightly towards Spence. Both got great CVs though.

A real 50/50 and this is, for once, a real boxing match with two men in their prime and at the top of their sport.

A genuine pick 'em, I'm going only very slightly for a Craword win on a very close and possibly even split / majority decision.

Well there it is. A pretty much faultless display from Bud. I was just thinking Spence's corner should chuck towel in then the ref stopped it.

Spence just couldn't avoid that jab and he was looking like every punch was doing damage to him

Brilliant Crawford 👏🏻

Incredible performance from Crawford. Showing what a true champion is all about. The best in this generation for sure.

Maybe Spence just wasn’t ready for this fight. Coming off a big layoff and not to mention his car crash. Crawford handed him his lunch as they say.

I'm not sure how good this version of Spence was last night, the long lay off and car accident may have taken a toll and my excitement for the fight dropped massively when I saw him at the weigh in. He looked like a corpse.

I picked Crawford to edge it , based on the car crash and lay off for Spence , I didn't expect the stoppage though !!
I knew how good Crawford was years ago when he beat Ricky Burns (2014) , Burns himself was imo very underrated and looking back now there was no shame in losing a decision to arguably the best around right now .

I agree, I used to like watching Ricky Burns fights and I too thought he was underrated and had some very good wins on his record.

Likewise I used to really like Kell Brook and thought he had the ability to rule the division. Not sure he always led the most professional lifestyle at times but he had huge ability. His only losses came against Crawford, Spence and and much bigger GGG. No shame at all in those losses.

Wow - watched twice now and still stunned by Crawford's performance. I - like others it seems - am not sure that was the old Spence in there as he seemed subdued to me. Yes, Crawford was superior with the jab and took that away from Spence (much like Inoue vs Fulton in fact) but Spence's timing seemed completely off and he lunged more than I've seen him in previous outings, leaving him exposed. Perhaps a couple of warm up fights would have been better for Spence but we are where we are - he made no excuses for himself though and you have to respect that in a fighter. His face at the end told the story - not just the swelling from the beating but the realisation he came up so short of ideas and a backup strategy in that fight.
