Serious question. I seem to recall earlier advice here in France, that if you had recently had Covid it was inadvisable to have a vaccination/booster? Was I misunderstanding?
Doctor said leave it a month to us after covidSerious question. I seem to recall earlier advice here in France, that if you had recently had Covid it was inadvisable to have a vaccination/booster? Was I misunderstanding?
They suggest you wait 28 days before being vaccinated.Serious question. I seem to recall earlier advice here in France, that if you had recently had Covid it was inadvisable to have a vaccination/booster? Was I misunderstanding?
The Dr did actually ask if I'd had covid and if I'd had the vaccine. I thought it was an interesting question as usually most sources claim it has no effect on heart conditions.Any problems with people’s hearts are far more likely the result of repeated covid infections than the vaccine.
Don't forget to get yours if you are eligible, this thing is still with us.
Flu jabs too.
Big winter waves of both are expected.
As I wasn’t put on a ventilator when I got Covid I’m going to suggest it has had significant positive impact on my health so will be getting the annual boost next month. The jabs don't seem to give an active acquired immunity do they? The best you can hope for is that they make getting it (multiple times) less worse. Not sure it qualifies as a vaccine. Better safe than sorry, owt for nowt as you say but I can see the choice of not bothering as reasonable.
I judge it as a part-vaccine, I agree a full vaccine would stop you getting it.The jabs don't seem to give an active acquired immunity do they? Over 65s, frontline health and social care workers and the vulnerable.I got an Covid email and text and filled in the questionnaire and got a reply I did not have enough conditions etc for the vaccine at present.
It seems to be the over 70s and those with serious underlying conditions, at present.
I am not sure if there any vaccines that 100% stop a disease.I judge it as a part-vaccine, I agree a full vaccine would stop you getting it.
