Covid booster done today

I think he's some kind of tin foil
I know a few eligible people who will not be getting the next booster when it becomes available to them.

Sensible people.

This mind set will exacerbate pressures on a health system which is already treading water in many respects.

It’s clear to me.

Do I want a vaccination which will reduce the likelihood of me experiencing severe illness, hospitalisation or death?

I've had all 3. I'm not sure about the booster. Although not had a text or anything to say I can. Although I've also had covid 3 times.

I recently had to have a CT scan on my heart as it was acting a bit weird. So all my tin hat mates were chatting about me on FB. I imagine I will be used as an 'example' if I go full Erikson😂. Ayway all clear... Although just as well as I waited 4 months for it.

I'll probably have a booster. As my dad used to say..... 'owt for nowt'.

Any problems with people’s hearts are far more likely the result of repeated covid infections than the vaccine.

I'm booked for a week Saturday. It's more prevalent than ever. Loads of people I know who've never had it before got it over the last few weeks and some who have had it before got something like it but tested negative. I got an infection of some kind but tested negative...it actually put me in hospital because it upset my heart rhythm. My daughter got it before she went to uni and now has a bad cold along with everyone in her halls block, I'm guessing that's maybe the good old fresher's flu.

Ive had it 4 times now and whether it's down to my lifestyle not being what it was or covid or both, I've gone from having near olympian pulse and blood pressure to stage 2 hypertension.

I’ve had the 4 Covid jabs available and will have the 5th in a couple of weeks.
Booked in for flu jab on Saturday.

The jabs don't seem to give an active acquired immunity do they? The best you can hope for is that they make getting it (multiple times) less worse. Not sure it qualifies as a vaccine. Better safe than sorry, owt for nowt as you say but I can see the choice of not bothering as reasonable.

Some suggestion they are better at preventing transmission. Definitely effective in reducing severe disease and the likelihood of long covid. First vaccine that targets omicron.

Worth it I'd say.
