They play Norwich on Saturday, so it would open the door for us to leapfrog 2-3 teams if we beat Sunderland and then keep pace with everyone else until our game in hand.

So no cups and more players to pick from we should get enough points for top 6 . We should see the kind of form we perhaps took for granted at the beginning of the season the didn’t materialise.

It will be interesting to see how Coventry do in the FAC.

They have a replay in a weeks time against Sheff Wed than they are home to Maidstone in the next round if they get through. So there is a clear passage for them to the 6th round. But that means more games and more distractions as we experienced in the League Cup.
