What a heart this kid has if you bottle that we’d be winning this league not fighting to stay in it.
Up against Luke ayling and he was tremendous.
The only real high from this awful season

He’s a really good player and as predicted looks much more suited to left wing. If only he had a competent left back behind he would look even better

Agreed, Zorro, a good young prospect. I also agree with block21 about left wing. I think as a defender he struggles at times, but going forward he has pace, and desire in abundance. A bright spark in a dark season

Yep he’s good going forward, an can deliver a good cross. Defensively he’s not so good but that could be improved by a decent coach

Only 4 players can come out with any trying last, coulson, howson, pears and (I'm not fussed on him) Shotton. The rest especially wing, tav, Savile and friend were absolutely gash

I like the formation last night but in classic Woodgate Style he picked the wrong players for the formation. Morrison should of been the player just off Fletcher and Spence should of been playing on the opposite side to Coulson. Wing on the bench as apart from scoring he offers **** all, the championship Mesut Ozil. And a base of Clayton and Saville would of done the job. Tav can’t play that high up the pitch. He’s proven it time and time again now.

Was also impressed with Shotton last night, if I had never watched us before last night I would of said he was the player on loan from Saint Ettiene and with the touted 4 mill price tag.

Moukoudi on the other hand, is like a slightly calmer Andre Bikey. Woeful so far

Yes Shotton deserves a shout, I thought he generally played well too last night and at Barnsley also.

I think he’s actually a good centre back, not keen on him at RB but don’t mind him at CB we all know he has the occasional lapse but he’s a pretty solid player in general

I thought Tavernier added some energy and movement to be honest but tried too hard and gave the ball away.

There was a moment late in the game when he tried to drive into the box but there was too many defenders and he ran into a brick wall.

You could see by his body language just how frustrated he was.

If all of the players had his heart and desire we wouldn't even be talking about the prospect of relegation.
