Could be trouble ahead at the SoL

I'll be relieved when his tenure ends there.

Much easier when they have a manager that you have no reason to like.

Agree.

I wanted them to sack him in the Summer: he'd have left with the whole football world knowing he'd done a great job. He'd have had dignity and Sunderland would have looked foolish.

I it would be the same if he went now, but slightly less so. Unfortunately at least 1 person at Sunderland has enough sense not to go for this.

Unless they get 2-3 quality signings in, and get Stewart back scoring straight away I think they could be in trouble and Mogga gone by October.

🤞🤞

The usual rubbish from their fans - as if someone is going to walk into the SOL and sprinkle magic dust to turn them into promotion material?
Maybe another little known Scottish Coach or someone from EFL II.
Most of the comments on that thread are pretty reasonable to be honest. Mowbray seems to have the support of the majority of fans.
They are blaming the owner/DOF for not buying a striker and for a policy of buying untested youngsters. And for not building on last season's success.
If Mowbray leaves they are worried who would replace him.
All sounds familiar actually.

Utter delusion from them. Mowbray hasn't had a striker for over half a season now. He has worked wonders. They are lucky to have him because they get someone else in who can't manage those young players they will struggle.
