Coq au Vin


This is very nice, the chorizo gives it a lot of flavour. I usually just use chicken thighs, rather than a whole chicken.
 
I got this recipe from a French magazine that was running an article on Marcus Wareing and I must admit it was lovely. I used chicken breasts rather than a whole chicken and it worked just good.

Well worth giving it a go.

2hrs 20 mins ?? That’s not what I’d call “quick” coq au vin. Can’t you go down Tesco and buy one to stick in the microwave for 5 mins ??!

Can we just wait until the window has closed? Coq au Van to most fans sounds like a french striker.. not some celery and garlic soup!

Can we please just keep a lid on it rather than getting everyone’s hopes up?
