Contacting Amazon

I'd be most grateful for any help.....

I have a parcel from Amazon which has been 'Out For Delivery' since Saturday (and thats on a Prime next day delivery). In My Account, when I try to cancel the order and claim a refund, I get the message that I cannot cancel because the item is out for delivery. It seems pretty obvious to me that the parcel is lost, or has been nicked, or whatever, but it's certainly not going to get to me.

AAARRGGHHHHH!!!

If anyone knows how to bypass this loop and actually interact with somebody af Amazon, I would be eternally grateful.

are you using the app or web? there is a web chat that you can use. I had an item "delivered" but it wasn't. i had to wait 24 hours then i used the web app to get a refund on it

you can go on live chat. I have had to do this before. In the online chat b***ks, type in, "speak to an agent" you then get this

Messaging Assistant | Customer Service
Ok, you can chat with an associate now, or request a call back.
You can also go to your Customer Service Hub to fix most things or to search help pages. What do you prefer?

In the app:
Little man at bottom >
My Account >
Contact Us >
Pick item to discuss >
In chat click to speak to someone and you’re live chatting almost immediately. Very good customer service on Amazon, regardless of them single handedly assisting us all in destroying town centres.
