Random question of the day - anybody aware of anywhere in the teesside area (or near) where you can buy contact lenses?

Go get an eye test and then just buy them online. Majority of contact lenses in the world are made by a small handful of companies - opticians just rebadge them with their own packaging. If you Google the ones an optician gives you, you can see what the actual brand is and you can buy it online usually for a bit less and in volumes you want.
 
Definitely buy them online. I use lenstore.

There's probably even cheaper websites, but that's one I'm most comfortable with.

They're by far cheaper than the likes of Specsavers etc, who actually use the same branded lens.

I have a minimum contract with Specsavers which enables me free eye tests, free contact lens checks, and free glasses every 2 years, however I still purchase mine online. Very quick and easy too.
