I know they’ll use the first game of the season and new staff as the excuse, just like Covid was previous excuse they hid behind.

But is their any danger of them actually spending some money to resolve some of the issues this season? Again yesterday it was painfully slow, and it’s been like this consistently season after season now.

I queued for 15 minutes during the first half at counter in the family end. When I got there they had no kids meals at all. In the first half of the first game. Why couldn't they have put a sign up telling people before they decided to waste time queuing up?

No bottled water either.

The only thing I actually get with my free drink as well, because there's never enough time to get a pint even arriving half an hour before kick-off.

They start pouring pints as they get very close towards half time. The queues are massive and its obvious that if they jut poured pint after pint and stacked them up they would be shifted no bother alot quicker than it seems to work now.

Even a service like the theatre would work better where pre-orders are taken and given a number and they are just picked off a shelf in a 4 pint holder etc.

Bloke in the west upper who was wearing a ‘Team Leader’ shirt, just stood in the same place for the whole of half time not moving once whist what was presumably the new staff taken on in the summer frantically tried their best.

Nailed it 100 per cent

Been mentioned before in the fans forum and the usual deaf ears from the Club. They need to see how the Rugby grounds do it, very little hassle and queues.

The trouble with pre pouring pints is that a lot of blokes want a freshly poured pint, even if its the stuff they serve at the Riverside.

Taking tin pottedness to new levels in all aspects of the club at the moment - TIN POT ARMY ! Maybe a new chant can be made 😵‍💫

Things to moan about concerning yesterday's match day experience #34

Gonna be a long week...

With the club getting slated I thought I'd give my experience yesterday. Arrived at 2.20 to South West corner, no queue and straight in no issue. Food kiosk for parmo in a bun (which are now £5.10!) served within 2 minute's. Then to bar, loads of pre poured pints and served in less than a minute. Didn't go down at halftime as everywhere home or away is always carnage. Just thought I'd give a positive experience 👍

Cue the abuse 🤣

Similar experience. Queued for 20 minutes, missed the first 5 minutes of the second half and they had ran out of the snack the young un wanted.

Yeah even Barnsley are investing in their facilities to try and improve the match day experience for their fans.

Apparently these pour 9 times faster than the good old fashioned way.
