Interesting fact from the first one: the King and Queen of Zamunda are the actors who voice King of Pride Rock, Mufasa, and his mate, Sarabi (James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair) in The Lion King

Pure nostalgia. Canny film. Nowhere near as good as the first film. Straight to video novelty with some good laughs.
 
I liked it yes obvious not as good the original but full of easer eggs and I enjoyed it.

I’ve seen a few reviews this morning and I can’t understand the hatred,as it’s Eddie Murphy who wrote this as well as the original and its largely the same cast so of course it was going to be more of the same but it’s 33 years on so what did people expect.
