Come on Man City!

4 good performances from England players-Walker,Chillwell,James and Mount
4 awful performances-Sterling,Foden and Stone
Foden did nowt and may have knacked his chanc3 of starting in Euros

Foden was played in the wrong position. Pep should of played him where he has all season.

Sterling normally plays better for England as the style is quicker. Should have stayed at Liverpool. At least he wont be tired!

Normally plays better for England because the standard of opposition in most England fixtures are *****.

His record in the qualifiers is brilliant. But I take the qualifiers as a pinch of salt as the qualifiers are simply pathetic.

Do I trust Sterling against a Belgium? France? Portugal? Italy? Germany? Spain? Etc…hell no

Of the English European Cup winners, Chelsea are now one behind Man Utd. If they had beat them in the shoot-out in 2008, they would now have more. Somewhat surprising.

Sterling has been poor at previous tournaments. Was poor at Euro 2016 and did naff all at the last World cup.

I'd start Foden, Rashford, Grealish and Sancho ahead of him.

Chelsea now have as many wins of old big ears as Forest, those Russian billions have been soundly invested and Citeh resortedx to long throws and pumping it into the box and playing percentages in the last fifteen minutes, so worth breaking the bank to bring in a top tactical thinker! Very disappointed with Man City, if that had been a Boro performance I would have been gutted at our failure to show up and the manager's over thinking things. Tuchel seems to have studied at the Karanka school of management, perhaps he could do a job at thge Riverside once he's got a bit more experience under his belt!

I really think he should be trying to fit Grealish in, he's the one player that the other teams won't know what to expect from and is capable of creating something from nothing. Rashford also offers lots more than Sterling. Chilwell should definitely play left back, Mount is growing into a first name on the team sheet and we need to go with three centre backs, as Stones always has a mistake in him and Walker has to play too.

One way of fitting Grealish in would be to start him wide left and have Foden and Mount playing centrally, although I do accept Foden has proven to be at his best wide left and should probably start there.

Another option would be to go 4231. Rice and Ward-Prowse as the two sitters, Mount and Foden out wide and Grealish as no10.

We just have so many options, it's exciting.
