Come on Málaga

Wish I had seen this earlier. My algorithm picked this out as a low scoring game, usually 1 goal would have been enough. Still , won £84.17, which is about 230,000 euros at the current exchange rate, I believe.

Long story but in essence the club were bought by Sheikh Al-Thani from Qatar in the 2000s and he initially appeared to pump money into the club, bought top players, and got them into the Champions League. Usual story - no money was actually there and the club was being financed by borrowing against it's own assets and future earnings.

Many rumours of money laundering, and certainly he and his sons were taking massive "consultancy fees" from the club each month for many years - eventually it all caught up with them, the accounts wouldn't match FFP regs, the club almost went bust and is now being run by administrators who are taking the Al-Thani's to court

The club only just survived to compete this season (it was touch and go at one point) and they've done remarkably well to do as well as they have with a bunch of young kids, old lags, and a couple of loanees
