Come on Boro get details of the Cardiff tickets up.

2.8 k for a game in south Wales.
2.1k for a game up the road in a much bigger stadium.
The initial allocation for Blackpool away was 1800. 😃
We'll be doing well if we even sell 2k for Cardiff.

Haven’t before but they have previously not allowed ticket sales on the day for the away end.
Don’t think we’ve even taken more than 1,000 to the Cardiff City Stadium.
Most of our matches there have been when we are on TV or a night match or on the back of a bad run. I think we took just under a 1000 last season when we were on TV and it was under Warnock.

2000 for a team our size is really good.
Bristol city never bring numbers any where near that to our ground, I let Cardiff off because they used to travel in big numbers but have their divisive Chairman and a restrictive membership scheme for away fans.

About £75 in fuel return from Teesside to Cardiff plus wear and tear on the car. But that would get 4 or 5 fans to the game. Whats a hire car for the day - £40?

I am shocked we have asked of 2,800.

I think we have taken 2,000 to Bristol City which we could do again for Cardiff if we keep up the current form.

Did think about going, but it meant a train at 5.13 am, with a 8.25 hour journey, and no possibility of getting back the same day.
If you went via Carlisle you wouldn't have to get the bus before York , might set of later and might arrive earlier but would still have to spend the night in Cardiff. Treat the missus to a Saturday in Cardiff😉

Ah the joy of the Carlisle train.
Never take the Mrs anywhere near the football, the two don't mix! 😃

Been waiting for this one as well. It will be a family day out. Might be youngest grandsons first game.
Also a gig at the Fuel Rock in Cardiff the night before.

And still £8 in 1995, and £6 & £3 for the East End seats.
In 1995 the East End seats were at least £10 for league games. I paid £12 in 1992 for a League Cup tie in a seat in the Clive Road upper.

As said I think £10 is outstanding value for the Cardiff game. Even the top price of £19 is good value. Its £20 to see my local non league team.

I always thought the coaches were run as a way of maximising ticket sales, not as a money making venture in their own right. Average coach 55 seats x average travel club ticket price £42.50.

That's over £2300. Wont cost anywhere near that to hire a coach, petrol and driver(s)

I'm don't expect that but we could if we keep winning get a couple of thousand given time to sort out out travel and maybe accommodation when it's cheaper, and if Neil Warnock is made manager again of Cardiff then there will be more interest from Boro fans.
If it wont sell out book the accommodation and arrange travel now without fear of not getting a ticket. Its not going to move
