Club Stream via VPN or Red Button

Seems I have a choice tonight. Don't know if we've been on the Red Button yet this season, but just wondering if the Red Button coverage this year has improved much?

Last season it was a single camera, no zooms or replays, felt like watching via a hijacked CCTV stream. Buffering aside the club stream would be preferable, but just wondered if this year Red Button might be worth another go.

I'll probably try both, and pick whiever one is the best quality, but from what I've seen this year neither are going to be that good. A lot better than nothing, but thought we would have had 1 HD camera by now, it's 2023.

I believe it's still just one camera until next season, when Sky will be taking over the iFollow coverage in this country and using their multi-camera coverage.

I've not used the red button for ages just because the coverage is rubbish.

Red button quality is really crap isn't it. Looks like you are watching through a smudged lenses. You notice the difference going from UHD to red button massively.

You also get our unbiased coverage from Maddo and Drury on Ifollow rather than Sky's commentary on the red button. I would expect Rob Earnshaw or Max Boyce to be doing Sky's tonight with English subtitlles with it being Cardiff :)

Am i not right in thinking you won't even need a VPN to get it on the boro site tonight?

The midweek ones aren't blocked for UK coverage, so should just be able to go on the boro site and buy a video pass.

Yep, no need for a VPN tonight.

So anyone can watch it if they wish.

Just bought a season video pass as now back home in Thailand ... watfords coverage was a tad late starting but the picture quality (and Joshs finish) were top drawer

I’ve saved on air fares this season too, found a stream for just about every game with not too much trouble.

Someone has annoyingly adopted to what seems like a habit of missing key live play action (Watford’s second goal for example) while they’re redirecting us to replays of previous action.
