Club just confirmed play off details

You'd think they'd all give the same minimum allocation of 2,000.

No benefit to any of them giving more than mandated, and they'd all sell out for a one off crunch game.
Well that was my thought, but my mate seemed to think BRFC would give us 6000+. I didn't really get it.

Its gonna be a 200+ pointer isn't it!

I don't mind the 4.45 kick off time for the final tbh, means those travelling on the coach aren't up super early. Those staying 2 nights plenty of time during the day to enjoy their morning, maybe a few drinks somewhere in London before getting to Wembley.

12 noon? Local derby kick off time.

If it is an all NE final imagine 80 thousand trying to cram on the two last trains of the day.

If it was a Boro Sunderland final I think it would be utter carnage unfortuntely. Trafalgar Square on the Friday night etc. There would need to be a huge police presence because there would be plenty of idiots travelling down intent on causing trouble.

I'll say this again theres not a chance of Sunderland v Middlesbrough 5.30pm ko on a saturday. SkY will be forced to switch the 2 games around
You are assuming we finish 3rd and Sunderland get into the playoffs. Anything but a win for the Boro tonight then we will finish 4th, for Sunderland to get 5th they would have to win both games and hope the other teams around them slip up. If Coventry beat Birmingham on Saturday then the Boro v Coventry game will decide if Coventry or Sunderland get into the playoffs in 5th or 6th. Interesting game that will be

You’ll find the ‘minority sport’ has adjusted their kick off times
And the "minority sport" which gets similar average viewers on Sky Sports as the Championship does. The most recent figures show that the Championship got an average viewership of 174k against the WSL which got 125k.

For a "minority sport" that's pretty good going.

Plus, as you stated. They were meant to kick off at 3 and moved their times.

I'm wondering if the 4:45 rather than 5.30 is in response to the complaints of northern teams having to travel back late at night. As chances are that one of Middlesbrough, Sunderland or Blackburn Rovers are going to be in the final, a 6 hour coach ride back to Middlesbrough would mean getting back at

If we played Sunderland in the final, at least we know that Trafalgar Square would be red, white..and claret. Throw that in with Chelsea playing Newcastle that weekend..utter carnage 😵😲
