Walking saltburn to whitby tomorrow. Wondering if anyone has been up that way today or yesterday, what condition is it like? Trying to decide on footwear comfort against dryness etc....thanks

I'm not home in Saltburn at the moment but looking at the rain you've been having you can expect some pretty muddy bits of path on Huntcliff

Went for off road trainers. Absolutely dry aa abone underfoot. Surprised due to recent weather. Cracking day 6 hours on the nose in total.

My spiritual home is the path past the Roman signal station on Huntcliff. Rolling down there on my MTB with the panoramic view round from Roseberry Topping to the North Sea is always a perfect moment for me.
