I must admit I didn’t think he had any future with us pre season. Open to offers, we didn’t get any, ostracised by the management and being told to train alone( a shocking decision), then required by us due to a striker shortage.

He came back - and we saw a footballer transformed . Now clearly our number one striker.

I can’t recall seeing such a transformation in a player. And credit to him he has really showed there is a footballer there.

So well done to the lad. Deserves all the plaudits he is getting
