Played CF, replacing Brobbey. Looks like he's the backup CF at the moment.

Only a couple of touches from what I saw, Marseille play a high line, which he struggled to break.
 
My brother lives in the Netherlands and his neighbour is a massive Ajax fan. He says the fans think he’s a dud already. There has been an issue with their sporting director doing some dodgy deals that benefit an outfit he has shares in, or something along those lines, and the fans believe he’s deliberately paid over inflated fees for a load of players. I think Chuba and some of those players are going to be struggling with some of the fans, even before they’ve kicked a ball, just because they are (rightly or wrongly) associated with bad business dealings.
It’s a real shame but he’s up against it already, partly because of something that’s completely out of his hands. Also playing him ‘out of position’ just compounds things.

It's a joke even publishing articles or making any comments about a player who has played less than 100 minutes of football (all of them out of position) for any club.

I thought he did fine in his few minutes on the picth. Praised for holding the ball up. Won it a few times. Where was the issue? He had max 8 minutes.

I remember tweets last season writing off Giles and Archer. Not sure what the tweets are supposed to be showing? Some Ajax fans are as bad as some Boro fans?
Like I say, He did what he could last night.

Just on those 8 minutes though you could see he would improve us with his hold up skills.

The tweets show what a couple Ajax fans think, that’s all.

You could say they’re just as bad as some Boro fans, I think every club has them though tbf.
