Was excited by this rumour but unusual for the Gazette to be so direct in its refutation. It may be he's been offered more - or QPR want more - than we're prepared to match or he/they were just trying to smoke out a higher offer from somewhere he wanted to go. Or maybe, just face value: we were never in for him and it's a fake rumour. Either way, feel people are clutching at straws after Johns shot it down like that.
