Should be fairly busy I would have thought.

Why? Is CW not able to handle answering any questions at all ? Very easy to answer.I‘ll bet you’ll all be told not to ask any questions that relate to Burnley (unless they appoint someone beforehand) I’d hazard a guess that if anyone did they’d likely be then banned from Rockliffe and the video edited accordingly

If he doesn’t answer it first of the bat.. I wouldn’t bother asking anything else.I‘ll bet you’ll all be told not to ask any questions that relate to Burnley (unless they appoint someone beforehand) I’d hazard a guess that if anyone did they’d likely be then banned from Rockliffe and the video edited accordingly
I doubt that. Things are not that strict. For instance someone asked about Neil Warnock's retirement last week and Wilder said "No Comment." The Q and A might not make the final edit for transmission.I‘ll bet you’ll all be told not to ask any questions that relate to Burnley (unless they appoint someone beforehand) I’d hazard a guess that if anyone did they’d likely be then banned from Rockliffe and the video edited accordingly
seems madness from them. Why would they sack the manager at such a vital time without someone to replace him? The fact that Wilder is still with us a week later makes me think that if he is the man they want, he isn't interested.I doubt that. Things are not that strict. For instance someone asked about Neil Warnock's retirement last week and Wilder said "No Comment." The Q and A might not make the final edit for transmission.
But it is interesting that it appears to be business as usual. If Burnley are serious about their intentions of staying in the Premier League then you really wouldn't think it a good idea taking another week and going another fixture without a manager, assistant manager, first team coach and goalkeeper coach. It is quite ridiculous. Remember it is their U23 and Academy staff as well as onfield skipper in charge at the moment.
We made Gareth Southgate our full time manager. Also Steve Agnew & Jonathan Woodgate! Pretty sure they’ll be fine for a few games.. with OUR Paul JenkinsRemember it is their U23 and Academy staff as well as onfield skipper in charge at the moment.
The club have already answered for him via the Gazette. I understand we all want to hear him say it himself. For all we know he might have a clause in his contract relating to being allowed to talk to other clubs. Why? Is CW not able to handle answering any questions at all ? Very easy to answer.
His time has changed to be fair..Chris Wilder has made it very clear repeatedly since last november
He’s not the messiah.. he’s a very naughty boy!Doubting Thomas's and those doing a very poor impersonation of Judas Iscariot
No it’s not. Supporters who care about their club.quite shameful.
I hope he can do the same in return!I'm backing Chris Wilder 100%.
But they cleared out the entire first team back room team - Steve Agnew was an experienced coach and had been part of Aitor's staff. I don't see how it can make any sense to take out every familiar face during a season. Continuity seemed to be their cornerstone. We made Gareth Southgate our full time manager. See what you mean but the manager will always be asked about more than the next match. Let's see what happens. But maybe the panic is subsiding? The club have already answered for him via the Gazette. I understand we all want to hear him say it himself. For all we know he might have a clause in his contract relating to being allowed to talk to other clubs.
The conference is supposed to be about MFC v Swansea, not Burnley. Neither he nor the club will want any distractions. He is on record as saying he tells it as it is and i doubt he will want to talk about the managerial vacancy at another club Whether he is in for it or not. He is currently odds on 1/3 with Skybet yet only evens with Billy Hills. The bookies don’t know, the odds just reflect their risk on bets taken.
FWIW, I think he will be here next season, I certainly hope so.

I’m sure they can put together a back room team in the interim. Mike Jackson has more coaching experience than Gareth Southgate and Jonathan Woodgate had.But they cleared out the entire first team back room team - Steve Agnew was an experienced coach and had been part of Aitor's staff. Yes I see what you are saying. I have an invite but haven't been told any special instructions. We’ll see. I hope you’re right.
Wilder would be an obvious choice as were Burnley to be relegated, they would then have a man who knows the Championship well, been promoted and has insider knowledge of all our future business. There would have to be negotiations between the clubs, compensation, intellectual property clauses all sorts of risk minimised by Boro, that takes time. It would be a stupid time to release him were he wanting to go, with a vital window coming up and all the work done for next season to date being at some risk.
He will have a notice period, were he to walk away he could not start the job till the gardening leave period was completed. I don’t see Wilder as the type to do that in any event, it wouldn’t help Burnley short term, but we also don’t know if he has any clauses in his contract that permits him leaving. The silence is the elephant in the room, Boro have history of not discussing speculation or till situations are finalised which is why i think there may be an embargo on the matter, if there isn’t then I don’t think there is anything in it.
I wouldn’t expect any instructions issued till people were actually at the press conference. If it is just business as usual there probably wont be. There is 2 days till the press conference and if there is anything in it, it would be a fluid situation beforehand. Let’s hope it is speculation and nothing more. Like I say, I think he’ll be staying, I hope so anyway.Yes I see what you are saying. I have an invite but haven't been told any special instructions.
How would you frame it if you were first up and had to ask ‘THE QUESTION’?Yes I see what you are saying. I have an invite but haven't been told any special instructions.
Personally I’d be subtle about it not mentioning Burnley at all.How would you frame it if you were first up and had to ask ‘THE QUESTION’?
