Some great photos of Chris Rea on Teesside live website. I was wondering if anyone on FMTTM remembers Rea's live debut on the local TV news [1977] ? [not too sure if it was BBC or ITV] but it was my intro to his voice and sound which was so unusual at the time.

Sadly not, saw him first at the Coatham Bowl in the early 80's .

Saw him playing support to someoen at the Crypt. Possibly Heavy Metal Kids but that could be totally wrong. Saw him later at The Bowl and a few other places early on around the time the Benny Santini album came out.
