I think it's too big a gap for West Brom to overcome now.

7 points with 8 games left, they'd likely need to win 3 and have Newcastle lose all 9 games they have left, and also hope that Fulham don't pick up enough points.
They've still got Liverpool, Leicester, Arsenal and a surprise package West Ham to play.

I wish they didn't need as many points to make survival more realistic ... but suppose that result in itself just shows .. you never know?? It's made that battle for 17th place a bit more interesting, perhaps no longer just Fulham chasing Newcastle

The final bit of this football season I'll have any interest in. Ours is done for me, I hate to say .. it was a while ago to be realistic. But never mind, see how we look come start of 21/22

I agree , I threw the towel in ( much like a few of the players ) a few weeks back . I bet Warno is livid with some of the attitudes and I dare say he’ll name and shame them when they’re gone .
It looks like the Mackems are nailed on for promotion as it’s 3 clubs currently chasing those 2 spots , then the Geordies one of 4/5 to go down . so imagine next season all 3 teams in Champo ? it’ll be fun .
