Kovacic to Man City, Havertz to Arsenal, Mount to United/Liverpool, Kante gone to Saudi. Ziyech, Aubameyang and Koulibaly too. Mendy, Chalobah and Lukaku also surely on the move, plus maybe Gallagher, RLC and Pulisic.

Its going to be a very interesting season for them, I don't think another mid-table finish is out of the question, especially if they continue buying the way they have the last 12 months.

I actually think they will come good next season.

I dont mean title challenge, but top 4 challenge, and nothing like the shower of 5hit from last season.
 
Well, they have also bought a player in the last couple of days so perhaps they are sorting out a set of players that the new manager wants, which is precisely what they haven't done following recent managerial appointments.

Yea have you seen who they're buying though? Not exactly established PL stars, just further expensive punts from the continent who may or may not settle, but probably on enormous and lengthy contracts such is the club's current strategy.
 
What happens if the dodgy deals continue between PIF and Chelsea who then finish above Newcastle or win a trophy at their expense. Who is in the firing line then? Or head on the chopping block?

Exactly, punts on 'promising' younger talent, the likes of Fofana, Madueke, Gusto, and that Brazilian Santos.

Hoover up any sign of talent so no one else can have it, just to be on the safe side.

Although, I think Nkunku is different - He could be a real quality signing.

Can't say I've watched him much but someone was saying the other day on here that he's brilliant. I'll reserve judgement til he's here.
 
I'm sure Ive seen something along the lines of 20+ goal involvements last season for RB Leipzig, which is not to be sniffed at.

Bundesliga is a respectable league.

Having said that, he still isnt an out and out striker that Chelsea are crying out for.

Yeah I'm not saying he isn't good, but he may or may not settle. They need plenty more signings in any case.
 
It’s dodgy as. Chelsea will be happy as it’s getting rid of players and trimming their huge squad but from the outside it just doesn’t feel right at all
