Alright guys. Having a few gatherings at ours over the next few weeks.

Anyone know of the best place to get crates in?

Used to be able to get 3 for £20 but haven’t seen those deals on for ages.

Are you looking for several board members to give you recommendations?

I like birrifico Angelo poretti, can get from most supermarkets but don’t know if any deals..

But TBH people should just bring their own…

A few beer snobs on here.

I quite like Coors, and don't mind a pint of cold Carling, in my back garden on a sunny afternoon.

Anyway Morrisons often have offers on 2 or 3 20 can packs.

Asda usually have that on most of the time but only tend to advertise it round seasonal holidays etc

Not beer snobs, just a discerning palate surely?

Anyone serving Carling, Fosters or anything lite, John Smiths or Whitbread and the like and I would be making my excuses about a dicky tummy before it came true.

A really good party should have a mixture of bottled lager like San Miguel, Old Peculier, decent reds and white wines min 12.5% abv, along with spirits like whisky, rum, vodka and brandy, maybe tequila for the initiated. Great music on not too loud and people I think are nice (that rules half the human race and parts of the family out and no doubt definitely me actually, so gotta fly)

And blastaways.
I also have vague memories of drinking diamond white with pernod and black.
Wasn't there something called Concorde as well....or am I making that up. Loved a blastaway....only cos they were £1.50 7-9 on a Thursday at cinzanos in stockton....few of them and straight round to the mall before 10 for free entry. Still had money for a takeaway and shared taxi with mates and I only used to take £20 out.
Nowadays you need to re-morgage the house....don't know how the young ones afford to enjoy themselves these days!
