Will Middlesbrough finish second in the Championship this season?
As an AI language model, I am not capable of predicting the future with certainty, so I cannot say for sure whether Middlesbrough will finish second in the Championship this season. However, I can provide some insights that might help you form your own opinion.
The Championship is a highly competitive league, and the race for the top positions is usually very tight. Middlesbrough has a strong team and a good manager in Neil Warnock, who has a lot of experience in the league. They have also made some promising signings in the transfer window, such as Onel Hernandez, Matt Crooks, and Lee Peltier.
However, there are many other strong teams in the league, including Fulham, Bournemouth, West Bromwich Albion, and Sheffield United, who will also be competing for the top positions. It will be a challenging season, and a lot will depend on how the teams perform in each match.
In summary, it's impossible to say for certain whether Middlesbrough will finish second in the Championship this season, as there are many factors that could influence the outcome. It will be an exciting season, and we'll have to wait and see how it unfolds.

"not capable of predicting the future"? Not even up-to-date on the teams in the league.

I asked it to tell me a joke about me, a 58 year old computer programmer. It came up with:

Why did the computer programmers girlfiriend dump him? Because she couldn't understand the language he used. It then went on to say: But don't worry, I am sure you are great at explaining things.

Gave me a chuckle.

I asked it to compare where I live (near bormuff) to middlesbrough. It said boro was more expensive to live in. thats fooked any future plans I had!

"The cost of living where you live is lower than in Middlesbrough, which can save you money on your housing, food, and other expenses."

Yeah it's only trained up till September 2021. I asked the Bing one which has internet access and it said:

"I'm sorry, I couldn't find a definitive answer to your question. However, according to a recent article by Sky Sports, Simeon Gholam and David Prutton predict the results of every fixture in the Sky Bet Championship and they have predicted that Middlesbrough will push for promotion.

Also, according to Gazette Live, Middlesbrough's finishing position is still uncertain after a 1-1 draw with Stoke City."

So... It didn't answer either. But at least it tried.

I asked Bard what it thought of those idiots that call the premier league the premiership ;)

"I think it's fine for people to say "Premiership" instead of "Premier League." The two terms are synonymous, and there is no right or wrong way to say them. In fact, "Premiership" was the official name of the league for several years, so it is a perfectly valid way to refer to it. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide which term they prefer. There is no need to judge someone for using one term over the other."

intelligence my arrse - we're doomed!

They can be good at some things and atrocious at others. I've been using showing them to friends and work colleagues as a useful tool for things they would always ask me about, it's great if you need to write PowerPoint slides, condense information etc, or ask it to explain something to you as if you were 12 and in 200 words or less and it will give a good dumbed down summary

It works very well for search, if you are searching for something quite complex to explain. Very shortly all site search will be OpenAI. Not sure if google will go down that route, it doesn't rely on context currently and may never do.
